Appointment FAQ

  • Appointments are an hour and a half.

  • We allow the bride and 5 guests. Finding your gown is an intimate and exciting time. We recommend bringing the people who know you and your style, and who are also your biggest cheerleaders! We also offer free Wi-Fi which will allow you to Zoom in those who cannot be there.

    If you are looking to have a larger bridal party, we do offer appointments on weekdays for the bride and up to 8 people. These can be booked by calling us at 760 681-6004 and does come with a booking fee.

  • The best thing you can bring is an open mind! As for undergarments, if you plan on wearing Spanx or shapewear under your gown, please bring those, as well as a strapless bra or sticky cups.

  • We pride ourselves on carrying brands that are established and high in quality. Our gowns start at $1899.

  • We recommend you begin your shopping 8-12 months before your wedding date. Gowns take about 6-7 months to come in. Some dresses and designers allow for a “rush” order, but these come with fees. We also offer “off the rack” options, so it is possible you may take home your dream dress the day you come in!

  • Our sample gowns range from US 6 to US 12.

  • Yes, designers offer a wide range of customizations that come with an additional fee. If a designer does not offer the customization you are looking for, we can inquire with the seamstress about creating your dream look.

  • Yes, we have a beautiful selection of off-the-rack gowns that you can take home the same day.

  • No, we do not offer alterations at this time, but we do have recommendations for our brides.

  • Yes, bridal gowns often run 1–2 sizes smaller than regular clothing, so don’t stress about the number!

    Nearly every gown can be altered to fit perfectly. Alterations are normal and expected.

  • We specialize exclusively in bridal gowns and do not carry bridesmaid or mother-of-the-bride dresses.

  • A bridal trunk show is a special event where a designer’s latest collection is available in-store for a limited time, often including styles not usually carried by the boutique. Brides can book appointments to try on exclusive gowns, and sometimes enjoy perks like discounts or special custom options during the show

  • No, we do not serve champagne but we do encourage a celebratory toast after you have said yes to the dress!

  • Yes. While our appointments are free of charge, your credit card will be charged a $75 fee if you do not show up or make a cancellation at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.
